Product Description
Tropomyosin regulates the interaction between actin and myosin in skeletal and cardiac muscle and plays a key role in regulating contraction. At LDI it is purified from cardiac muscle using a combination of ammonium sulfate precipitation, ion-exchange chromatography and hydroxyapatite chromatography. It is likely a mixture of the alpha- and beta-isoforms.
