Product Description
Mouse hemopexin is a serum protein of ~50 kDa. It functions as a heme scavenger in blood. It is also a positive acute phase reactant, the levels of which increase significantly as a result of inflammation, tissue injury and disease. It is purified using a combination of affinity, gel filtration and ion-exchange chromatography steps.
