Fast-twitch skeletal muscle troponin-C (F-TnC) ELISA – added Jan 2, 2021
Our ELISA (STNC) recognizes the isoform of skeletal muscle TnC expressed in fast-twitch muscle. It does not recognize TnC from cardiac and slow-twitch skeletal muscle. Because F-TnC is considerably more stable than TnI in serum, we consider it to be a better biomarker for skeletal muscle injury. Refer to the skeletal muscle ELISA kit page for pricing.

Dog Pancreatitis Associated Protein-1 (PAP-1) ELISA – added July 22, 2020
PAP-1 is an acute phase protein. Its expression is very low in healthy pancreatic tissue but increases significantly during acute pancreatitis and other diseases. In studies at LDI, we found that fecal levels of PAP-1 increased significantly in dogs with IBD. The dog PAP-1 ELISA (PAP1-4) uses dog PAP-1 specific antibodies developed at LDI and is calibrated to pure dog PAP-1. Human Neutrophil Elastase (NE) ELISA  – added December 7, 2018
Neutrophil elastase is a serine protease that is secreted by neutrophils. While not a classic acute phase protein, its levels increase during infection and inflammation. Human LRG-1 ELISA kit – added Oct-26-17
Leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein-1 is a lesser known positive acute phase protein. Its serum levels increase in serum during infection and tissue injury. It is currently being investigated as a potential biomarker for certain cancers. We are pleased to offer a human LRG1 ELISA kit (LRG-20) for research purposes.

Dog Ceruloplasmin ELISA kit – added Oct-26-17
Ceruloplasmin is a positive acute phase protein. Serum levels increase in dogs during infection and after tissue injury. As with all ELISA’s we offer, the kit (CER-4) was developed by our US parent company.

Sheep IgA, IgG and IgM ELISA kits – added Oct-26-17
ELISA kits are now available for sheep IgA (IGA-12), IgG (IGG-12) and IgM (IGM-12). The kits can be used for measurement of the respective immunoglobulins in serum, plasma and milk. They are priced at £276 each.
